When did you start playing professional soccer in Japan?
I started playing professional soccer with Albirex Niigata, Japan in 2002.

How did you get spotted in Japan to play professional soccer?
The coach of Albirex Niigata spotted me during my university days in Japan in 2001.

Was your decision to play in the SLeague difficult?
It was definitely a difficult decision initially, to be away from my hometown in Saitama but my desire to experience playing professional soccer overseas, proved too much a chance to miss.

You started with Albirex Niigata S. FC for 2 years and why did you decided to join SAF FC this year?
After 2 years, I wanted a change of environment, learn and improve my game further with SAF FC.

What is your personal goal for the next 2 to 3 years?
To be the Champion of the SLeague this year with the SAF FC, so that I will be able to experience playing in the Asian Football Competition and make a name for himself in SLeague.

When did you start using Phiten Products?
When I was a professional player with Albirex Niigata, Japan in 2002.

When did you know about Phiten in Singapore and how?
Phiten, Singapore visited my previous club at Albirex Niigata S. FC in 2004 for a Phiten demonstration. This proved to be very successful and effective in helping most of the Japanese players like Issey Farran Nakajima and of course, myself.

What are the current Phiten Products you are using?
Phiten Warming-Up Gel, the Phiten eWater, necklaces, bracelet and disc tapes.

Phiten SPATS – how does it helps you?
When I wear the Phiten SPATS during my trainings and games, it really gives me greater flexibility on my groin muscles and also helps prevent groin injury. I can stretch better with this SPATS.

Phiten Tapes – how does it helps you?
I will use the Phiten tapes on my calf area during games or use them to help speed up my recovery time when I am injured.

Phiten Rakuwa T-Shirt – how does it helps you?
I will always wear the Phiten Rakuwa T-Shirt during my games for general enhancement.

Phiten Bracelets – how does it helps you?
I wear the bracelets for the general enhancement on my wrist.

Phiten Necklace – how does it helps you?
I usually wear the necklace for general enhancement on the neck and shoulder area.

Do you wear them during your soccer games?
Yes, I wear most of the Phiten products during trainings but not during games. This is due to the FIFA and SLeague directive that prohibit soccer players from wearing any necklaces and bracelets during games. But, I still use the Phiten disc tapes on my ankle and calf muscle groups.

Where do you usually buy your Phiten products?
I buy my products from the Phiten Shop at StarHub Centre.

Do you have a single favourite Phiten Product and why?
I have to say that my favourite Phiten product is the Warming-Up Gel. I usually use it to massage my major muscle groups before every game. After my game, after my shower, I will apply the Phiten disc/tape and eWater on my major or arching muscle groups to help me speed up my recovery.

Will you recommend your teammates to use Phiten products?
Yes, I have been recommending Phiten products to my SAF FC and ex-teammates whenever they see me wearing them. I may not be able to explain to them in greater details but I can use my own Phiten experience to let them understand the Phiten effectiveness.

Do your family members use Phiten products too?
Only my teammates use them.

How do you wish to summarize that the effectiveness of Phiten Products have helped you personally and in your professional soccer career?
Phiten helps speed up my recovery time from injuries and enhances my performances on the soccer pitch. Phiten products are important to me especially when I am suffering from injuries, pain and arches.

How do you rate Phiten Product out of 10?
Actually 10, but got to rate 9 now because expect Phiten to come up with more innovative products and maintain the current standards for all Phiten products in terms of effectiveness.
